REFORMATTING & BINDING UNIT

The Reformatting & Binding Unit is responsible Library ETD processing, mass digitization of various collections through vended scanning services, microfilm collection digitization, tracking storage and sales, as well as all functions relating to commercial library binding in the Smathers Libraries collection.

In consultation with the Conservation Unit, the Binding Unit prepares periodicals, serials, monographs, pamphlets and various other items for shipment to the commercial bindery.

The unit is located in the Preservation Department on the first floor of Smathers Library (Library East) on the University of Florida campus and can be reached at (352) 273-2830. For any questions, please contact Robert Parker.
