Install twelve HOBO data
loggers for operation throughout the University Libraries. Schedule
bimonthly reading and downloading of the data, and create a web page for
making the current data available in graph form to all staff.
- Complete the Preservation
Department and the Conservation Unit brochures. By complete it is meant that
they will be designed and approved by the Department and ready to forward to
Barbara Hood.
-
In
consultation with the Personnel and Staff Development Offices, set up a series
of workshops in areas relating to bookbinding, book arts, book repair and
conservation.
- Write up a report on the
review of deselected books before disposal. Include potential values,
ideas and options on how these items could be
disposed of in a way to possibly generate money for the libraries.
