Removing unavailable claimed items

When it has been confirmed that a claimed item will not be received, the item should be removed from the system.

  1. Copy the claim reply notes from the claim window.

2. Paste these notes and any pertinent information regarding the missing issue in the internal note field of either the bound volume that is missing the item, or both bound volumes that come before and after the missing issue.

3. Delete the claim from the missing item and then delete the item.

Be sure to leave informative notes!
