Papers were received and catalogued in two (2) separate acessions; Accession I, consisting of personal and business papers from both brothers for the period from 1884 to 1940 (includes a large amount of material on the family history). Accession II consists primarily of business related documents from both Chases and their brother Randall Chase, from the period 1884 to 1984. The two Chase brothers founded Chase and Company in 1884 as a shipper of citrus fruit, located in Sanford, FL.
