Boca Grande Pass is the waterway to the south of Gasparilla Island that leads into Charlotte Harbor. The Expedition party traveling from Port Tampa to Ft. Myers on the steamship "Tarpon" traveled through the pass from the Gulf and then headed south to Ft. Myers.
