Robert B. Cable

Robert B. Cable was General Manager of the Jacksonville, Tampa and Key West Railway Company in 1891-1892. He resigned as General Manager in August 1892. He previously had worked as a railway Superintendent in New York and as Superintendent of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1890 or 1891. He served for a time as Receiver of the Jacksonville, Tampa and Key West Railway Company. He also served as general manager of the Indian River Steamboat Company. He became general manager of the Florida Southern Railroad, but resigned in 1895.
