Cattle

The Expedition accounts list several types of animals, birds, fish and other wildlife they encountered. Although they didn't see any of the large cattle herds of southwest Florida, they did make several references to cattle. They also stopped briefly at Punta Rassa, which was a principal port for shipping cattle to Cuba.
