Chokoloskee

When the Expedition party encountered the Seminole woman, Old Nancy, she told them that her men were at "Chockiliskee" hunting. This is probably a reference to Chokoloskee, which is the name for a bay, island and coastal region to the south of Big Cypress Swamp and near the Ten Thousand Islands on the Gulf of Mexico.
