Harney River

When the Expedition party meets the Seminole woman, Nancy, she tells them that "Harney's River" was about 20 miles southeast of Fort Shackleford. The river, which is named for Colonel William Selby Harney, is on the southwest coast of the Florida and empties into the Gulf of Mexico.
