Mrs. Jones

Alonzo Church describes a guest at the Hendry House named Mrs. Jones. It is possible that this is Maud Jones, who was the wife of W. Ashby Jones (1863-1946). The Fort Myers Press newspaper listed new arrivals at the Hendry House hotel for the week prior to March 17, including "W Ashby Jones and wife and child and nurse, Richmond VA." William Ashby Jones of Richmond, Virginia, was a sports fisherman, and it is very possible that he was in Fort Myers for the fishing season.
