Camp No. 7: Island No. 22

At Camp No. 7, the Expedition party decided to start numbering the islands on which they camped, and that these island numbers would be reconciled with the engineer's report and plat. The island numbers indicated the day of the month. Thus, the island on which they established camp on March 22 was numbered Island No. 22. At this camp, the Expedition party was joined briefly by Billy Fiewel.

Geographic Location: Approximately 5 miles from Camp No. 6.

Camp Established: March 22, Tuesday

Camp Departure: March 23, Wednesday
