Minniehaha Grove in Maitland, Fla. with Bolling R. Swoope in foreground; source: Rollins College ArchivesBolling R. Swoope was an officer of the South Florida Railroad Company with J.E. Ingraham. Swoope, who lived in Maitland, Florida, was Superintendent for the Railroad. In 1883 the railroad was purchased by the Henry B. Plant Investment Company, making it part of the Plant System. Presumably Swoope, like Ingraham, continued to work for the Railroad after Plant's acquisition.
