Group studies
- Fifteen general group studies provide space for collaborative work for groups of up to ten persons. They may be signed out at the circulation desk on the second floor. See policy at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/ps/circ/studyroompolicy.html.
- One 10-person group study room is equipped for teleconferences. To use the teleconferencing equipment you must reserve Room 229 at least 24 hours in advance, and notify library staff that you plan to use the equipment.
- Two group studies are equipped with specialized ADA and digital media equipment.
- All studies may be reserved online for 2-hour blocks of time, up to 10 days in advance. Details are at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/librarywest/using_studyrooms.html
Individual graduate and faculty studies
- Fifty-Eight graduate studies are available on the 4th floor of Library West. They are assigned for the academic year by a lottery of eligible applicants who have applied using our online form.. See policy at http://web.uflib.ufl.edu/ps/Circ/graduatestudypolicies.html.

Study carrels
- Located on the fourth and fifth floors, a limited number of carrel spaces, including a small locker, are assigned to graduate students through a lottery. Graduate students in the sciences may apply. Applications are available online at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/msl/services/carrel.html. Assignments are for one semester and may be extended for additional semesters if space is available.
