The date of last update is
shown in the upper right of each page.
The
above pages are constructed using the information in the following two
Aleph tables:
- tab_sub_library.eng -- which contains the SUBLIBRARY CODES
and ASSOCIATED DISPLAYS
- tab40.eng -- which contains the COLLECTION CODES and
ASSOCIATED DISPLAYS for each sublibrary.
With NOTIS there was an ARROW
report that allowed for easily generating an up-to-date list of all
location/sublocation codes and their displays; there is no similar
report in Aleph.
The pages linked above will
be updated periodically; there should rarely be changes to the
sublibrary table, and there should not be many to the collection table.
The most current
information about available sublibraries and collections is always
viewable in the GUI client (ITEM FORM) as illustrated below. In
NOTIS, there was no similar way to display all of the currently
available locations and sublocations.
- If you click on the SUBLIBRARY drop-down, all of the available
sublibraries and their associated displays are shown. Select the one
you're interested in.
- Then click on the COLLECTION drop-down; the collection codes and
associated displays for the selected sublibrary are shown.
