Technology & Support Services
The Technology & Support Services Division of the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida consists of seven departments of technical operations: Acquisitions Department; Cataloging & Metadata Department; Preservation Department; Access Support; Digital Services; Facilities & Security; and Information Technology.
Technology & Support Services serves the University of Florida’s community by acquiring, organizing and preserving academic and scholarly information to support academic programs. The expertise in these departments encourages research endeavors and ensures access to print and digital resources through Web discovery systems, enhanced finding tools and Mango, the Library catalog.
