Collections
Library West houses a large part of the humanities and social sciences collections, including the Isser and Rae Price Library of Judaica.
Books
Books are shelved on the first through the third floors in mobile shelving.
Microform Materials
Microforms and eight digital microform readers/printers/editors are located on the third floor behind the public service desk.
Periodicals
Journals and other periodicals are located on the third floor behind the reference area. Current periodicals are located in the southeast corner of the third floor.
Videos and Multimedia
The video collection is located on the second floor.
Isser and Rae Price Library of Judaica
The Price Library of Judaica, with holdings exceeding 80,000 volumes, is a regional library of excellence in Jewish studies in the Southeast. It is located in the northwest corner of the first floor.

Circulation and Borrowing
The circulation desk is located on the second floor at the top of the escalators. There are also drive-up book and video drops on the East end of the building.

Seating and Study Facilties
Library West has seating for 1,400 patrons. There there are eight group study booths with computers and six booths equipped for viewing videos. In addition, 17 study rooms, one equipped for teleconferencing and two equipped with special digital media and ADA equipment, can be reserved for group study. Visit the circulation desk for information on the availabiliy of these rooms. Please review the group study room policy before reserving a study room.
Information Commons
Library West provides wireless access throughout the buiilding for laptop and handheld devices. There are 110 general use computer workstations located on the second and third floors. There is also a digital media center with 18 workstations providing access to specialized imaging and video software. For more information on specific software and equipment, visit our research assistance desk.
Graduate Student Facilties
Access to the graduate study area on the sixth floor is granted at the Circulation service desk on the 2nd floor of Library West..

Faculty Services
A limited number of study rooms are available to Faculty - please see the faculty study room policy for further information and to complete an application.
Offices for the subject specialists, faculty liaison staff, and reference specialists in business, humanities, social sciencies, and area studies are located on the fifth floor.
