Cataloging and Discovery Services Department |
Internships in the Cataloging and Discovery Services Department provide an in-depth understanding of cataloging operations in an academic research university and exposure to the collaborative nature of cataloging work. In addition to learning about cataloging workflows for all types of material, including locally digitized resources, interns receive hands-on experience performing copy cataloging as well as an introduction to original cataloging in an area of interest. Internships can be tailored to meet specific objectives and timeframes. Contact David Van Kleeck, Chair, Cataloging and Discovery Services Department, dvankleeck@ufl.edu |
