Mike Williams, a former major in the Army and now a graduate student studying medical radiation physics is assisting physics professor Dr. Henri A. Van Rinsvelt in his cancer research.  Cancer tissue from mice which have been injected with cancer cells sent from the National Cancer Institute are analyzed by PIXIE (Particle Induced X-ray Emission Machine).
