Notes: "Author-illustrator Valenti Angelo's pressmark (a figure carrying a cross and horn, and riding a dolphon [sic]) is an adaptation from the Grabhorn Press mark, where he worked from 1926 to 1933 as illustrator of fine books. First used in 1935 in a series of books from the Bible, the Golden Cross Press device was designed by the eminent artist at that press." © James Lamar Weygand | |||
