Laboratory Director Dr. Francis Ray explains the purpose and aims of the laboratory. He is followed by Dr. Muriel Dahlgard, head of the chemistry laboratory, who talks about her work. Two other women also appear in the film but are not identified. The first is probably Dr. Mary Argus, head of the biochemistry laboratory, and the second is probably Dr. Katherine Schaeffer, head of cytology.
