April 4 Camp for the Secondary Group

This camp was not given a number or name. The Expedition party had split on April 4 with a small group traveling via boat with guide Billy Harney to Miami and the majority staying behind as a secondary group following on foot. The secondary group, led by D.M. Baker and Alonzo Church, had made their camp near Billy Harney's homestead before the groups had split. It was described as a "little clump of bushes."

Geographic Location: Unknown how many miles from Camp No. 18.

Camp Departure: April 5, Tuesday
