Thomas E. Haskew

Thomas E. Haskew accompanied the Expedition party from Fort Myers to Fort Shackleford. He was responsible for a two-horse team, which was owned by his uncle, N.L. Langford. He was paid for his services on March 19, and he evidently returned to Key West on March 20. Thomas was the son of John Townsend Haskew, a founder of Fort Myers, and Caroline Langford Haskew. Census records list a Thomas Haskew in Key West in 1880, so it is possible that he was not a resident of Fort Myers.
