Although the Expedition party arrived in Fort Myers on March 13, they did not establish their first camp until the following day.

Geographic Location: Fort Myers, on the outskirts of the town about one mile south east of the Post Office.

Camp Established: March 14, Monday

Camp Departure: March 16, Wednesday
