Notes: "The monogram used as the Arundo device was drawn by William Gray Purcell, the architect, in 1905 for Acorn Press, an early F.F. Thomas imprint. It wasa first used in that year in a small volume which they published jointly. Gray designed the book, and hand-illuminated the first page; Thomas handset the types and did the printing." © James Lamar Weygand | |||
