A report on a new burial, which was discovered on Useppa Island where native people had lived for thousands of years.  Bill Marquardt of the Florida State Museum of Natural History is interviewed.

A discussion about the exercise gifts one could give.  Dr. David Kaufmann, a UF physiologist, is interviewed.  He suggests that a digital blood pressure monitor is a valuable gift from the standpoint of health.  He also states that decisions about where to go to work out, whether to work out alone or with a group, and the types of exercise are important.

The UF football team recently won against the FSU team but Galen Hall will not get a rest as he is preparing for the Blue Gray Classic game in Montgomery, Alabama.  He mentions the names of the players who will participate in that game.  Game action scenes are shown.

This is a very brief interview of Dr. Marquardt who has been overseeing the excavation of the burial site at Useppa Island.  In answer to questions he states that local volunteers are helping at the site as they have an interest in them and also that there does appear to be a greater awareness of archaeology sites than there was ten years ago.

In this most recent job fair there appears to be an increase in the demand for non technical people such as students who majored in either business or the liberal arts.  Examples are shown of three companies looking for potential employees, the circus, the Peace Corps, and IBM.

The Bear’s Fair, on the Plaza of the Americas, is an attempt to make sure that students have a safe spring break.  The Florida Highway Patrol has equipment which demonstrates the impact one can receive from a fast stop.  The Bacchus organization has a table set up with information about moderation in drinking alcoholic beverages.
